Dark cloud

It was the worst of times

Posted on June 14, 2022June 14, 2022 by Scott

Living in this world for the last two- and a-bit years has been excruciating. Not only have millions perished in the pandemic, but those of us left behind have had our lives upended too. It was the worst of times.

As so often happens though, there’s sometimes a silver lining to those dark clouds. In my case, it meant I was able of begin a rebuild of my home.

The downside to that being that I could not leave my job for a holiday. Until now.

That’s right. I’ve finally broken the shackles tying me to Australia and have managed to set foot in another country for the first time in nearly 2 ½ years. For somebody that usually travels as often as I do, that was brutal.

I’ll be posting some more in the coming months and I can’t wait to tell you what’s great and what’s changed in the world over the last couple of years. Can’t wait.
